The only exception is our special education students, Malcolm High School(which is an alternative high school) and classrooms that have a para-pro helping out with special education students who are in the mainstream classrooms. If you enjoy Winter and cool Summers, you may enjoy living here. Snowfall usually begins in December and lasts until late April. The last few years Winter weather has started in October. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie (Soo). Never felt scared to walk down a street after dark. As a child most people still left their doors unlocked, car windows down, most could happen was a local drunk went into the wrong house! Ends up the big city sucks. The reasons one leaves the Soo is the same reason one ends up missing it, totally crazy! No place like the u.p. and once a yooper always a yooper! So if you got a good paying job that you can work year round the Soo is Read More
