Review of Bellingham, Washington

Quality Of Life
Star Rating - 12/17/2007
I have lived in 3 other states. I have traveled the whole US. The quality of life in Bellingham supersedes all the others. There is absolutely no end to a better quality of life up here. Yes it costs more to live here and the housing is higher than other places, but it is a better place to live, work, and play than all the other areas I have been to. My husband and I live much richer lives up here in more ways than one!

Bellingham, WA is a great place to live, work, and play, if you are an outdoorsy kind of person. When we first moved up here, we did ALOT of hiking. You can go hiking in and around Bellingham every weekend in the summer and never be on the same trail twice. The town is embeded in a beautiful forestry backdrop. In the middle of town is the Sehome Hill Arboretum! Then we took up mountain biking! Galbraithe Mountain is loaded with miles upon miles of biking trails. And because of the unique hills and forestry about the city, biking is quite popular as well. I haven't even touched on Bellingham being a "water-lovers paradise!" With the bay along the cities side and Lake Whatcom and Lake Padden in the city...water recreations are accessible year around. Bellingham, Wa is really an all around great place to live, work, and play!

Would the area be good for me in your opinion: I am 44, divorced, well never married (would like to meet someone special). Work in Customer Service, degree in Marketing and taking medical coding courses. Avid mtn biker. I would like to live somewhere where I can develop my career, afford my own apartment, meet someone special, and enjoy a lot of mountain biking, road cycling, and get my gym workouts and enjoy outdoors.
