Review of Eureka, South Dakota

A disappearing part of America's history
Star Rating - 12/28/2014
Once the wheat capital of the US, this little town is getting smaller and smaller as there are no good employment opportunities so not many young folks stay or relocate here. If you are ok with the cold winters, it is a wonderful place to live. Most of the citizens are of German-Russian ancestry, and you can tell it in the food of the area restaurants. You couldn't ask for kinder people, but it is one of those small towns where everybody knows what you are doing at all times. Plenty of good hunting and fishing and wide open spaces.
