This is the most depressed city I have ever been in. It is a ghetto town and is very sad. The mall has nothing to offer and many retailers have moved out. Their style is it least 15 years behind. The climate absolutley stinks. You are either freezing or burning up. There is virtually nothing to do other than eat at not so good restaurants. However there are 2 hospitals and that is a good thing because the crime is always on the rise. The people in Lima are friendly even if you have not lived here all your life which is a positive, The economy is very sad. The cost of living is low however. I live in a town outside of Lima (Saint Marys) where the lake is polluted and you can not even enjoy it, (only from a long distance.) Keep on trucking !
