Review of Newark, New Jersey

The Ironbound of Newark
Star Rating - 10/4/2008
While Newark has it problems, the Ironbound section in which I live is the most stable and developed area of Newark. It is known for its restaurants, it has night spots for the younger crowd and it is a culturally alive area. Near Penn Station, it allows for easy access to NYC. The area is safe at all times and the people are friendly.

I am doing a study on the Ironbound and I want to avoid the Chamber of Commerce rah-rah boys and get people's real opinions on life in the Ironbound in 2013. Can people write to me about the economy, the life on the streets, crime as they see it, etc. Thanks, Lawrence Lane lsl67@scarletmail.rutgers.edu
