Hanover, IN is a small town in the Midwest with a population of approximately 4,000 people. Despite its small size, Hanover is home to some excellent schools, ranging from preschool through high school. Most of these schools are rated highly by the Indiana Department of Education, including Southwestern Junior-Senior High School and Eastwood Elementary School. Both of these schools offer a variety of courses and activities for students and strive to create an environment that fosters learning and personal growth. Through various initiatives such as providing access to state-of-the-art technology, tackling educational issues head-on, and emphasizing individualized instruction, both Southwestern and Eastwood have become two of the top performing schools in the region. In addition to their academic excellence, these schools also provide students with many extracurricular opportunities such as athletics, music programs, theater productions, clubs and organizations, volunteer work, internships, leadership programs, and more. All of these allow students to explore unique interests and help them develop into well-rounded individuals who are ready for success beyond high school.
