Verdi, Nevada is a small town located just north of Reno and is considered part of the greater Reno-Sparks metropolitan area. Despite its small size, Verdi boasts many public transportation options for its locals and visitors alike. The town is served by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County, which operates several bus routes through the area on weekdays and Saturdays. These include two express routes: the Verdi/Mogul Express route, which connects Verdi to downtown Reno; and the Mae Anne/Verdi Loop route which allows commuters access to nearby locales such as Mogul, Sierra Sage, and Caughlin Ranch. For those traveling further afield, Amtrak's California Zephyr runs daily from Reno to Emeryville in Northern California. In addition to these public transportation services, there are also several taxi services that operate in and around Verdi. All this makes getting around town easy and convenient for everyone who lives or visits Verdi!
