Springboro, OH is a city populated with over 17,000 residents. It is located in the southwestern corner of Ohio and is part of Warren County and Montgomery County. Politically, Springboro has a strong history of electing conservative candidates who support smaller government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility. In recent years, prominent Republicans such as U.S Senator Rob Portman and Ohio State Representative Candice Keller have represented the people of Springboro in state-level elections. On the local level, the Springboro City Council is made up of seven members who are elected by voters in the city limits every four years. The council is responsible for making decisions that affect citizens day-to-day lives including passing ordinances on topics such as taxation and public safety.
