Stagnant Economy

Although I have a decent job here, there is little opportunity for advancement and the economy is going nowhere. We have a mayor who has proven time and time again he doesn't know how to do his job and/or doesn't care about his citizens. That's why I am looking to move somewhere else with better opportunites for my family. The city officials are constantly complaining of "brain drain" but with the way things are here - why would anybody want to stay when they can be offered so much more elsewhere?
