Review of Redding, California

Shasta and Whiskeytown lakes
Star Rating - 6/21/2008
Within 15 minutes from downtown Redding you can be to either the very large (and great for boating, caping, mountain biking, hiking, Fishing, swimmming and more) Shasta lake or the smaller yet beautiful Whiskeytown lake( kayaking, sailboating, hiking, swimming, boating, camping, etc..). Mt. Shasta (great ski and snowboard park available), Mt. Lassen and Castle Crags are all within an hours drive.. Not to mention the local Rivers and creeks that are throughout the area. we also have the gorgeous Sundial Bridge, Turtle bay museum and much more...The weather can be hot in the summer so take advantage of what the area has to offer & cool it down. I love living and enjoying my family of 5 in the Reding Area.
