Review of Fairhope, Alabama

Fairhope, Alabama -- the Noman Rockwell town in Al
Star Rating - 11/28/2009
I've been traveling to Fairhope for years. It is a wonderful little town, right on Mobile Bay, 125 feet high up on a bluff so it's protected from bad storms. Very nice and the people are friendly and the cost to live there is less than the national average. Sure, it gets hot in the summer so just stay in the AC for those hot afternoons, otherwise you will be outside at one of their parks or walking under those huge trees in the quiet neighborhoods. And, it is an artsy town with plenty of seniors that are active and do a lot of crafts. Some well known autors call it home -- for a good reason. Check it out!
