I grew up in Menifee and thank God I was able to get the hell out of there. My childhood rural community was overrun with tacky track homes and city people. Traffic is terrible. It would often take 30 minutes to go the 3 miles to get on the interstate. Everywhere is crowded. Yes, there are more restaurants now, but be prepared to wait 30-60 minutes for a table any night of the week.
