Growing up - 10/23/2017
I grew up in Fortuna, many people I grew up with still live there. I wish I could take my son and move back there to raise him. There is so much to learn from there. You are far enough away from crazy city life, yet still close enough to get there in a few hours. Along with near the ocean, and the mountains and rivers. Everything you need is near, plus the comfort of knowing, feeling what a real community is, where everyone knows you, your kids. Do anything wrong and even before cell phones mom & dad knew before you got home, some one saw you. It's truly the it takes a village to raise a child area, I really miss Fortuna
