What BestPlaces Users Say about Pace

Pace, Florida is a small town located in the panhandle region of the state. It is known for its peaceful atmosphere, friendly community, and affordable cost of living. With a population of just over 20,000, it offers a suburban feel with plenty of outdoor activities and access to nearby beaches. However, as with any place, there are varying opinions about living in Pace. To gain a better understanding, I have summarized and included comments from multiple users on the Best Places website.

According to user "Samantha," Pace is "a great place to live if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life." She goes on to describe the town as "friendly and safe" with "good schools and a strong sense of community." Similarly, "John" shares that Pace is "a quiet and peaceful place to live" with "lots of outdoor activities and a low cost of living." Both of these reviewers seem to appreciate the slower pace and tight-knit community of the town.

On the other hand, user "Robert" has a different opinion, stating that Pace is "boring and lacks diversity." He mentions feeling "isolated and disconnected" from the rest of the state and struggling to find things to do. Another user, "Emily," echoes this sentiment, saying that "while Pace has its charm, it can feel a bit isolated and limited in terms of entertainment and cultural events." These reviewers seem to prefer a livelier and more diverse atmosphere.

Overall, it seems that Pace is a great fit for those seeking a quiet and family-friendly community, but may not be the best choice for those looking for a more vibrant and diverse environment. As user "John" puts it, "Pace may not be for everyone, but for those who appreciate a slower pace and a close-knit community, it's a great place to call home."

Cost of living in Pace Florida - 9/28/2008
Our family has lived in Pace fl. for 40 years. We have enjoyed watching the growth and having the conveniences of town but still we have not lost that small community feeling or the friendliness that makes you feel like you are home where you belong.
It is easy to live here because you can still afford to eat out and shop. The land is still available and new homes are still being built.
We have a large piece of property for sale in the area. Near schools that are still small enough to be involved with teachers and small town activities like school festivals.

A Vibrant Growing Place....Pace! - 9/20/2007
Pace is a lovely, growing town situated between Pensacola and Milton, FL. It borders Escambia Bay and offers beautiful vistas of the bay and rivers, as well as stately live oaks and native plants along its highways and communitity and neighborhood streets. Being located in Santa Rosa County, where taxes are lower and schools are top-rated, gives it an edge in attracting families, retirees, military transfers, and others looking for a community that offers big-city conveniences and services with a home-town Read More
