Located fourty five minute's drive west of Atlanta, Hiram is an old town undergoing major growth. Unfortunately, given Hiram's proximity to Atlanta and Paulding County's continued use of 'old politics', along with the growth in retail and dining establishments came the undesired elements of substandard housing and criminal activity. On the positive side, Hiram, and the immediate area in general, has enough in recreational facilities, dining, shopping, and entertainment to satisfy those of all ages and most interests.
