Can't complain about the weather - 1/25/2009
The Climate on Kauai has to be one of the best on this planet. Over the past 8 years, The highest temperature has been 90 and the lowest 51. Trade winds tend to blow over 90% of the time which is nature's air conditioning. Ozone is NEVER a problem out here. Vog is quite rare and is minimal due to our distance from the big island and the rarity of a strong Kona system bringing it our way. Thank goodness we haven't had to contend with a hurricane for years, although the last one, Iniki, on 9/11/91 literally tore the belly out of the island.
