Life in corn... - 9/12/2007
All in all, life is good in NW Indiana. The climate is horrible! (January, February and March the temps are single digits.) The people are OK. I live in a very friendly neighborhood. (Lakes of the Four Seasons) Being close to Chicago is a blessing and a curse. It great to be able to pop into the city, but there are not many opportunities for great jobs outside of Chi. I don't have kids, but I hear the schools are decent.[read more...] |

Still a nice little town - 7/17/2007
I grew up in Crown Point during the 70's and 80's. I now live in Arizona. I've lived in many different states and I have to say that Crown Point is a wonderful place to have grown up. It still has the charm of a good ole midwestern town, nice people, good schools, good values, etc. It has a nice change of seasons with lots of green in the summer, pretty white snow in the winter and beautiful autumns.[read more...] |
