The way life should be!! - 4/14/2011
I was born in Maine, moved to AZ and lived in fear there for four years. The crime is so bad that one cannot go for a walk without being fearful of getting shot. I missed the peaceful, beautiful state of Maine and am so happy that I decided to return. Maine is truly the place to bring up a family. Many things to do and is so clean. The beaches are great, the shopping is nearby and the people are friendly.[read more...] |

Cold snowy winter, nice warm summer. You might need air conditioning 15 nights per year. Can get a little muggy and humid, but not for real long spells. Some winters are really cold with not that much snow, and others have snow as an almost daily occurance. But a short drive or walk brings you to a snow covered beach. How special is that. Do plan on lots of sunbathing, but don't plan on running into the ocean very often. The water temperature is not that high, rarely above 55 degrees. Wetsuits recommended.[read more...] |
