Not a great place - 2/13/2010
We moved from Raymore a couple of years ago because there's nothing to do there. You have to drive into Lee's Summit, Mo or Overland Park, Ks. to find good eats and shopping. Belton, Mo is on the other side of the highway which I wouldn't recommend and in both Raymore and Belton there seems to be quite a bit of crime. Other than Lee's Summit, the surrounding areas of Raymore, I wouldn't recommend either. Just pretty much a boring area to live Read More

We moved to Raymore seven years ago from south Kansas City. The school system in Raymore is far superior to that of Kansas City. Raymore is only 15 minutes away from the southern part of Kansas City. We are very pleased with the community in Raymore.Read More
