North Carolina's great weather - 4/6/2011

For many reasons, North Carolina is a great place to call home! The weather is tough to beat. We enjoy four seasons, Summer is a little hot for some but allows a long outdoor fun season. A little to the West are the mountains - a good getaway in the heat of Summer or skiing in the Winter. A little to the East is the beach, with something to do all year. Raleigh, NC is Overrated, and Generally Not a Frie - 10/14/2010

I cannot believe how "hyped up" the Raleighm NC area is. It is a strange combination of transplans from New York, New England and New Jersey mixed with local Raleigh North Carolinians. I have lived in other states, and have to say the Raleigh, NC area is one of the least impressive area I've been to. And another strange thing is that WOMEN around Raleigh - for some strange reason - are not very friendly or polite. My wife even notices this! They come across as real snobs. Again, I am speaking in general- of course there are some friendly people around here- but just not on a general cultural level.[read more...]
