Wonderful town - 5/4/2010
My sister lives in Lewisville. We visit there several times a year. I find it to be one of the nicest towns that I have spent time. Two nice grocery stores, Several shops that are "family" owned and operated. One particular one is Casanova's Coffee & Fudge. If you are interested in a fast moving atmosphere; don't go there. For relaxation it's great. I like the friendly yet indepedent spirit of it's citizens. Just another PLUS for a great state. Brad[read more...] |

Lewisville NC - 7/22/2009
I lived there almost 5 years and it is a wonderful little bedroom suburb about 10 minutes from Winston-Salem. You can walk in the Town Square at 10 pm and never be bothered...you can shop, go to the post office and library just by walking. The town's charter bans all commercial looking buildings so everything must look like a house if it wasn't grandfathered in...no Walmarts or billboards allowed!!! Schools have 98% proficiency because most people are professionals and believe in parental involvement and their kids making something of themselves. People live in Lewisville to escape Winston-Salem and Greensboro. It's worth the drive![read more...] |
