Oakwood and Kettering are by far the two most desirable and safest communities in all of the greater Dayton area. I have grown up in these areas my whole life, and they are wonderful.

Wonderful family town!! - 1/29/2006
We lived in Oakwood Ohio, outside Dayton Ohio, for 4 years while my husband was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB (about 20 miles away). We absolutely loved the town, the schools, the public library. It was a truly idyllic walking community with a wonderful atmosphere and strong community identity. We loved the quaint older homes and streets lined with mature trees. We want to find a similar town further south (the winters were a bit harsh)when we retire from the military.[read more...] |
