Year-round HUMIDITY is WAY TOO HIGH in the NorthEa - 8/11/2006
South central PA is a nice place to live, but as with anyplace on the planet, there are pro and cons. I have no problem adjusting to temperature extremes (just remove or add clothing), but the high humidity year-round is VERY BAD in south central PA AND the entire NorthEast.
Summer: I walk out of my air conditioned apartment and get KNOCKED OVER by the EXTREMELY HIGH heat and humidity. The mold and mildew is WILD!
Winter: the high humidity makes the COLD go right through your coat, TO THE BONE.
I have found from experience that anyplace west of the Rockies has lower humidity year-round. My $.02 :-)[read more...] |
