disappointed in oconee county - 9/9/2007
I've lived in and around Walhalla the majority of my life. We have a new church built in this area every year... maybe even more than one... the people here are so religious they can't get along. One group in the church gets mad at what another group or the minister does... so they split and start another church... then it happens again... and again... and again... Just for the record I don't go to church... I have nothing to prove to anyone. I don't have to show off my car and best clothes every Sunday and Wednesday to feel important or loved. I can make friends without doing these things... i kinda feel about churches the way I do about sororities... paying for friendship and socializing... keep on sending that collection plate around and build bigger and fancier churches south carolina... you go baby!!!
Suggestion: Have spiritual parks to go be close to your supreme being whoever that may be... and remember that nature is our true "supreme being". Take care of it
