Santa Fe is Great!
- 9/10/2017
Santa Fe is wonderful to us! Most people don't live by the dump, that is more between Algoa and Alvin or live by crapy areas. Santa Fe is a small town where a lot of people are friendly and my daughter and I love the schools. I don't have any seagulls and nether does my other family that live here. Love this place! Taxes are higher though, that's the only

Small Town USA with Big lots and NO HOA!
- 9/21/2016
I am a professional that moved to Santa Fe a year ago. Santa Fe is a small town close to the Ocean and close to amenities. If you don't like having a WALMART down the street from your house, don't much care for Home Owner Associations and want an acre of land then Santa Fe is the place for you. Walmart is a 20 minute drive from my house as well as the Galveston Beaches. Being that there are areas with no HOA (and areas with) you will see diverse housing. The worst thing for me is the taxes. I have lived in Michigan and Arizona. Both much cheaper that Texas.
I love it here. It takes me 45 minutes in the AM to get to my downtown job at 5. I don't get road rage in the country. And the dump, well, it's at the edge of town. Not many people live by the dump. It's more of an industrial area. I do not live anywhere near a dump or a

Landfill >>>>> Santa Fe, Tx
- 4/3/2008
If you like living by a landfill with thousands of trash-diving seagulls, listening to the Santa Fe train come through every other hour, listening to cows MOOOOO and looking at hundreds of unkempt trailer homes, Santa Fe is the place for you. The stench in the air, the squaking birds and the unsightly trailers everywhere are not for me. You'd think people have more class now days...... What a miserable place to
