Review of Charlotte, North Carolina

Relocating from California
Star Rating - 6/15/2010
I am contemplating Charlotte as one of a couple of cities I am considering relocating to. I have read many of the postings on this site. My specific search is for an area that is; Close to public transportation that is handicapped accessible, that has nearby supermarkets/shopping, fairly close to Center City, and that has safe affordable housing((condo or apartment)up to 650mo.
I am single, have a vehicle but prefer to use wheelchair,no children, just seeking a decent place with nearby shopping, churches, and access to entertainment and sporting events.

All suggestions appreciated!

I loved living in Charlotte but I lived in a good area. If you can afford Ballyntne section you might enjoy it; but have a plan B.
