Living in Fort Lauderdale definately has its fine points. Its got great beaches and resteraunts. Shopping is good if you have a few bucks. Appartments and housing are pretty reasonable. And the people are just "ok". But you can still find some good friends and have fun. On a scale of 0-10, I'd give it a six in regards to all around liveability. Its really hot from April - November but its great cuz there are little snow birds here then..LOL

Hey Gregory. Thanks for the insight. I am really considering Ft Lauderdale. I had Tampa in mind as well but I really do not want to be bored to death..As far as it being hot is it really that bad? How is employment out there?
