Hopefully it is not too late for this response to help you, but I highly recommend Boise High School. It is the only high school in Idaho that is on the 100 Best High Schools list in the US. Both of my children graduated from there and they received an excellent education. The teachers are very dedicated and many have come from previous interesting careers to teach (lawyers, business, medicine) and exhibit a love for teaching. Boise High has a very large number of AP classes in which both of my children were enrolled. My son received so many college credits from the courses that he started at Rice University as a second semester Sophomore! One of the main things that I liked about it was that the student population has diverse interests which seemed to be accepted by other students and teachers. Also, with open campus, I like that there are many places to eat near the school so students don't have to leave the area for lunch.
