Dayton = Depressing

Reading some of these glowing reviews of Dayton is shocking. Dayton proper is dirty, old, and full of homeless people. I don't recommend spending any time in the downtown area. The alleged highlight is the "Oregon District", which consists of crammed old houses on poorly maintained cobblestone streets. The businesses in the Oregon District consist of bars and adult book stores - a real draw for the losers of Dayton. If you have no choice but to move to Dayton, try looking in the eastern Dayton areas of Beavercreek, Kettering, or Huber Heights. The best part about Dayton is the cost of living is low. Other than that the crime rate is terrible, the town is ugly, and the winters are cold. Stay away unless you have no choice.
