If you're african american with a brain, do not move to Raleigh! There will be nothing here for you. Raleigh is fake and has no identity. It's full of boring white people. And as a person born here, it saddens me and embarrasses me. As an eduacated black female, it pains me to see how hard it is for other educated blacks to get good jobs. And as far as some previous comments go, they are right. I don't have peircings or dreads, so looking at me, one would think that I fit in. But I just know how to play the game. But no one wants to play the game forever, people need to be able to express who they really are. And Raleigh has a long way to go in letting people feel that way.
