Review of Kokomo, Indiana

I wouldn’t recommend this place in a billion years
Star Rating - 5/7/2018
I understand that every place has the good with the bad....but this place has more of the bad.
If you like to be around slovenly, uneducated and narrow-minded people then Kokomo is the place for you. That’s the type of “person” who resides here mainly. But if you don’t enjoy that or you don’t enjoy doing meth, walking around with your hair unwashed and unkempt and in your nasty pajamas you bought from Walmart then I suggest you steer clear of this place. This town is basically a giant WalMart if you want a clear idea of the demographic that mostly resides here. You could probably contract an STD by certain people glancing at you. It makes you want to take a shower, read at least a college reading level book, pray, and mediate to cleanse your body, mind, and spirit from the ignorance and filth.
The pros of this place; let’s see...well there’s okay weather and soil for having a vegetable garden, but the weather itself can be quite unpredictable much of the time.
There’s not much to do here as far as public places go. There are a couple of decent parks and there are a couple pockets of natural beauty with nature here if you explore and look for it enough.
They have updated some things in the downtown area mostly and that is looking nicer. They also are putting in more bikes paths and trails which is a plus, but the roads here are horrendous. There are potholes every which way, but I know that can be said for much of Indiana.
I would never recommend moving here, mainly because of how close-minded most people are here. It’s sad.
I acknowledge that there are people with different backgrounds, upbringings, and viewpoints, but many people here seem to lack that worldly understanding by even a small degree. It’s like they have never left to go explore outside their own neighborhood even. Since people here are so ignorant they show a great lack of depth, empathy, or even basic understanding and comprehension.
This place makes me lose a little more faith in humanity every day....so if you don’t want to have your hopes for more positive life crushed, then don’t come here.
Luckily I am moving very soon, and very far away, I might add.
