Review of Denver, Colorado

Life in Denver
Star Rating - 1/17/2013
I have been living in the Denver Metro area for over 24 years, and feel that I can honestly give you the most accurate answer. Denver is a polluted, overpopulated, liberal, unfriendly, expensive, city. The traffic is horrible, the air quality is terrible and it gets worse everyday. If you are liberal, a sportsaholic, don't mind waiting in line for EVERYTHING, like to smoke alot of pot and keep to yourself, then it will be the place for you!

Very Very Dead on Sperlingview...my thoughts exactly as I've lived in Denver for 12 of the last 15 years. So tired of the sports b.s. and the pollution is the worst that I have seen it since 1998 and it continues to get worse. Lacks class and culture as a whole, the museums here are terrible but hey it's Denver!! The scenery is nice as you can see the mountains from most areas but a person has to ask themselves...do I trade scenery for being around sports freek's and increasing pollution and lack of class??? You're also correct about the lack of friendliness as a whole, although most people on the highways will let you into their lane which isn't common in larger cities ie L.A., Miami. Most of the people here have this little "i'm better than you" air about them especially in the so-called desirable neighborhoods because "i'm living in Denver."
