Review of Maricopa, Arizona

They messed up our beautiful desert!

I have lived in the Hidden Valley area of Maricopa for a dozen years. It used to be beautiful open desert peopled by inhabitants who loved the desert and kept it pristine. NOW IT'S A MESS. Without ever asking us for a vote the rich developers moved in a hundred thousand people who have no respect for us or the desert. Now the problem is finding a place to move to that won't let that kind of thing happen.

I would like to know how the older residents kept the desert pristine. How have the newer residents made it a mess? How have the newer residents shown disrespect for the desert? I used to live in Orange County, CA, where is was all orange groves at one time. California University at Fullerton sits on land which was all an orange grove. Things change.
