Review of New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is Not for Civil people
Star Rating - 5/30/2021
The city of New Orleans is a hell pit. For starters it’s ranked as the Most Corrupt, One of the top heavy crime areas in the nation. Murders are common. Drugs are out of control and so is the poverty rate. So the person saying it was one of the most friendly and positive cities, sounds like it’s a city official or someone too dumb to see reality. The place ranks poorest, least educated and a host of other lows, I think someone already pointed that out in other reviews because thats FACTS!

The mayor Latoya Cantrell is too busy keeping businesses shut down to even care about the crime or any of the city’s major issues. Pot holes are everywhere, the flood prevention measures are NEVER up to date because the funds that are supposed to be for upgrades to the infrastructure end up being stolen and misused by the Democrat run corrupt machine there.

EVERYONE has their hand out there and is on the take. The mayor destroyed countless small businesses and families and continues to do so even now with restrictions and lockdowns. Her dad was a crackhead so she was a crackbaby . So NOLA has a crackbaby for a mayor. When will this city learn and stop letting these kinds of crooks into office?

Another notable thing you will see if you are dumb enough to move there is that there are ped o files everywhere. The police departments, sheriff’s office of surrounding towns like Covington, Parishes like St. Bernard, Slidell etc. are all corrupt to the core and allow this kinds of behavior. Most of these people out here are related so they cover for each other.

If you are white you will notice that black people resent you in the city (this is coming from a black man …me) I know my people and I can tell you they don’t like white people for the most part and will try to play favorites whenever possible. Sure, they will use the white dollar for tourists and events like Mardi Gras, but make no mistake they do not want you here. They will smile to your face, but behind your back you better trust and believe they are talking mad trash about you.

Even the mayor Cantrell always is trying to stir racial division within the city and trying to put the hammer down on non-black businesses and promoting black agendas like blm junk that has set blacks back 50 years. I was born in New Orleans and moved out when I was 25 and then came back years later and I can tell you that most people there don’t ever leave so they have a closed mind and so all the corruption, lies, stealing and crime is normal to them and they don’t think nothing of it.

Even the bridge going to Northshore was part of a scheme to steal money and now the city is involved in a lawsuit worth around $30 million for guardrails that were improperly installed through the span of the bridge (you can bet someone got their hands greased to approve it). I wouldnt doubt that the person who won the contract to begin with has ties with a stupid politician in the area and got their hands greased to win the contract.

Just like the Hard Rock and how inspectors were paid off all the way up to the mayor and they covered their tracks real good and stalled on the demolition. The investigations into the Hard Rock will likely go nowhere and end up with settlements for the families because they protect the bad actors and insulate themselves from the same laws that they try to enforce on you.

Bottom line is that if you don’t want to live around people who don’t care about anything then move elsewhere, the positive reviews on here are likely fake. All the crime, corruption, theft, crime and nepotism is WELL DOCUMENTED by fact and statistics. So over all NOLA is a big failure of a city.

If you are a low person who likes drinking , has no ambition or drive, likes being around crime, shady people and just all around gloom, bad weather and cursed area along with a cursed people then move there FAST you'll like it a lot.

If you are decent and have morals then stay away, nothing to see there byt poverty and crime.

Hey man, why is it that the Republican-les states of Mississippi, West Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee are always at the rock bottom, the arm pit of this country? Curious.

Don't comment on a city that you have probably never lived in or even visited. You are probably going by second hand stories and things that you have read about in the news, which blows it way out of proportion. They always report a lot of the crime to make the city look bad. New Orleans is almost right in line with many other major cities. Check the statistics Per capita. All cities have corruption within their government. This city was built on a swamp which makes the land and streets unstable so they constantly need repairs. It's very difficult for them to keep up with it. Things are being done here but it's a slow process. It is probably the most friendly city that I have ever lived in. All cities have problems, don't sensationalize it.
