We've been looking at Sequim for retirement for the past 20 years...spending a couple weeks every other year. On our last visit in 2015 we couldn't help but take count of the number of times we were practically run off the road by aggressive men in pick up trucks...even a water truck intentionally barreled at us in an intersection coming feet from hitting us with a five year old in the car. There's no "going with the flow" of traffic with out of state plates. We were pulled over for going 3-4 miles over the limit. This also happened to our guest who had BC plates. Clearly the locals don't care for tourists or newcomers and the police focus their attention on out of state drivers ignoring the overly aggressive locals. Sequim has a good deal to offer to folks looking to retire, but believe the residents don't want anyone else moving in. ...careful on the roads!
