Review of Crossville Tennes,

Not very friendly people
Star Rating - 2/24/2015
I an from New York and very proud of it, I was raised to be respectful and treat people how I would want to be treated no matter the your race, color, or religious believes. Well in Crossville people are closed minded, rude, and I think they were never taught about being respectful toward others. Not a good place to move to. I would not recommended it to anyone.

Darn...was hoping to find something better than the good ole boys in Smithville...also from NY and find their referring to their dislike for "yankees" when so many people in Tennessee are Northerners

If you come across as arrogant and condescending in your conversations with native Tennesseans, you won’t fare too well with the locals. I’m originally from Sparta. My family moved to the Philadelphia area when I was about 10 years old. It wasn’t a real picnic for me and my siblings when we started attending the local schools up there. I currently live outside San Francisco, CA (result of finishing up my military career at Travis). Some of my wife’s family lives in Flushing New York. I have a brother, sister-in-law and niece that live in Oswego, NY. My observation is you get what you give.

Came to Crossville in 2009, find the people very friendly. I guess you get what you give.

It is interesting though that the two post that complain about the "unfriendly " people come from a place where they will step over a body on the way to get coffee without a thought.
