High taxes, tolls, utilities but close to NYC. Not a good place to retire unless well to do & you have a house on the Jersey shore. Then again, that's if your house  More

Definitely a tourist area. Not a good place to raise kids! Schools are terrible. Decent amount of crime, nothing too extreme. High accident rate. Dear god do NOT drive  More

I have visited this area and it is very nice. I am thinking of longer stays. The only thing I find troubling is the lower end rating for water in this area in general.  More
