Wabash County is located in southeastern Illinois along the Wabash River valley. Covering 621 square miles in size with a rural population of approximately 14,000 people spread between 24 townships and 8 communities within its borders. The county seat is Mt Carmel which also happens to be one of the largest towns here with most amenities nearby including plenty of eateries/bars/activities surrounded by scenic nature views just outside town limits for those who love to explore outdoors.
