Not for working people Montrose Colorado is not for the working man. We moved here just over two years ago and ready to leave. Horrible water bills, trash bill too high, electrice bills out of the ball park and gas bills continually rise. Sales tax are not used wisely wasted on round a bouts that could have been avoided in exchange for less expensive stop signs. Wasted dollars on projects for downtown that offers only overpriced products and services no one wants to buy. Rude employees work for the city treat customers as if they were second class citizens. Montrose is not a place for anyone who wants to earn a living and save a dime for old age. We wish we had never come here. Chalk it up to one bad mistake. Please take time to know that you have more money and do not need a job to live in Montrose Colorado that has absolutely nothing to offer its citizens. Horrible hospital system, and worse leadership. Heed this warning think twice before moving to Montrose Colorado.
