Lewisville NC I lived there almost 5 years and it is a wonderful little bedroom suburb about 10 minutes from Winston-Salem. You can walk in the Town Square at 10 pm and never be bothered...you can shop, go to the post office and library just by walking. The town's charter bans all commercial looking buildings so everything must look like a house if it wasn't grandfathered in...no Walmarts or billboards allowed!!! Schools have 98% proficiency because most people are professionals and believe in parental involvement and their kids making something of themselves. People live in Lewisville to escape Winston-Salem and Greensboro. It's worth the drive!
