Up and coming city for 2015 I recently just moved to Concord, NC from long island. The people are more than polite. The Weather is amazing and the cost of living is reasonable and affordable. I have only been here for about 4 months and the city is growing new buildings from apartments to restaurants and retail businesses and office complexes. This city is very up and coming. Maybe the people below that commented negatively are just upset because of how much growth the cities is experiencing. Maybe they were just used to there old small quiet town but this growth is good, bringing more money into the town as well as new jobs to the area. They are right about everyone moving here it is a giant melting pot. I love the area I lived in NY my whole life and haven't seen as much growth as Concord.Believe it or not they do have great pizza down here,nice malls good food and I hope the growth continues.
