Living in Oxford We relocated to Oxford, MS from the Memphis, TN area. There are so many great things to say about Oxford but the low crime rate is at the top of the list! Coming from a large metropolitan area, we can really appreciate this. We are also within a 1 hour drive to Memphis or Tupelo so it's quick and easy to get to major shopping and airports.
