Economy Fargo is a college town so the base wages are lower. Seven dollars to nine dollars per hour is an average starting wage. Jobs are plentiful. Fargo is becoming a "high tech" city. Industry has discovered that there is a plentiful work force. If you can deal with the 30 below tempetures in the winter it is a good place to live.
