A Comfortable village Very low crime. Most of the police officers are helping people with health and emergency issues, or dealing with traffic issues. Larchmont has its own police department and also has additional support from the Town of Mamaroneck right next door. We feel fortunate to have such a low level of crime in our town, and our neighborhood feels friendly and safe. This is one of the best parts about living here. It feels wonderfully safe.
