Cost of living Middleboro Massachusetts
Middleboro is not a great place to live if you are looking at cost of living. The town provides no services to it's citizens. In this terrible economy with almost 10% unemployment, an exceptional amount of foreclosures, and people trying very hard to make it week to week the town saw fit to raise the tax rate $1.22 per $1,000 for a rate of $13.05 per $1,000.00. In these extremely difficult times this only serves to hurt Middleboro residents. The Selectmen can't say no and continue to spend money like drunk sailors. If you are thinking about moving here think twice. You will soon be taxed out of your home.
