Lehr, ND is a small town located in Wells County with a population of about 400 people. As expected for such a small community, the religious landscape is quite limited. There are only two churches in Lehr – United Methodist Church and Trinity Lutheran Church. Both congregations have been a part of the Lehr community since its founding and remain active today. The United Methodist Church serves as the primary worship house for many of the town’s residents. It offers weekly services on Sunday mornings as well as additional activities throughout the week, such as Bible studies, youth groups, and special events. In addition to its religious functions, the church building also functions as the local library and community center. Trinity Lutheran Church operates out of a smaller building located south of town which has served the congregation for over 90 years and continues to offer traditional services on Sunday mornings and midweek Bible study. Overall, both churches serve an important role in providing spiritual guidance to their members while also helping build strong relationships within the Lehr community.
