Olney, MD is a suburban community located in Montgomery County that has had a population growth rate of 4.7% over the last decade. It is represented in the state legislature by Senator Cheryl Kagan and Delegates Ben Kramer, Lesley Lopez, and David Moon. The county is governed by a five-member Board of County Councilors that includes Sidney Katz (District 3), Nancy Navarro (District 4), Craig Rice (District 2), Hans Riemer (At-Large), and Gabe Albornoz (At-Large).
