Trinidad, Colorado is a small city located in Las Animas County in the state of Colorado. It has a rich history and diverse culture with an estimated population of around 9,000 people. In Trinidad, politics are handled by the City Council which consists of five members that are elected to serve four-year terms. The current mayor is Brent Eddie who was elected in November 2019. The council members work together to determine policies that best represent the interests of their constituents. They discuss and pass ordinances, establish budgets, review bids for services and set tax rates. Other responsibilities include appointing citizens to various boards and committees, making appointments to city departments and staff positions and submitting issues for public vote or referendum. Lousy investment. I bought 35 acres in 2005, and has not appreciated. Thought it was a deal at 895$/acre, however, it is only worth 195 to 295 per acre even if it has  More
