Tyrone, Georgia is a small town located in Fayette County. The city has a rich and vibrant political landscape that includes local leaders and representatives who are active in their community. Tyrone's mayor, Kenneth Smith, was elected in 2015 and has been a strong advocate for the town ever since. Along with the mayor, Tyrone is represented by Senator Bruce Thompson, who has served since 2011, and Representative Pat McDonough who has held office since 2013. All three politicians are highly dedicated to their constituents and have worked hard to ensure the wellbeing of all citizens in Tyrone and the surrounding area.
