Natchez, Mississippi is a small town located in the southwest corner of the state near the Louisiana border. Politically, Natchez has a strong Democratic base, with voters typically supporting Democratic candidates in local and state elections. The current mayor of Natchez is Gene McGee, who was elected in 2017. In addition to Mayor McGee, there are several city council members who have been elected by local voters to represent their interests on the Natchez City Council. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
